Wade.Technology ("we", "us", "our") operates the Wealth platform at wealth.wade.technology. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our services, including our integration with Google Drive and other third-party services.
2. Information We Collect
When you use the Wealth platform, we may collect:
- Account Information: Email address, name, and authentication credentials when you sign up or log in.
- Financial Documents: Tax documents (W-2s, 1099s, etc.), insurance policies, bank statements, and other files you upload to the Vault.
- Google Drive Files: When you use the Google Drive import feature, we access only the specific files you explicitly select through the Google File Picker. We do not access, scan, or index any other files in your Google Drive.
- Usage Data: Basic usage analytics such as pages visited, features used, and timestamps.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and improve the Wealth platform and its features
- Store and organize your financial documents in the Vault
- Import files you select from Google Drive or other cloud storage providers
- Generate financial insights, tax preparation summaries, and document validation
- Authenticate your identity and secure your account
4. Google Drive Integration
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically:
- We only access files you explicitly select through the Google Picker interface
- We use the
drive.file scope, which limits access to files you choose — we cannot browse or access your entire Drive
- Selected files are downloaded and stored securely on our servers for your use within the Wealth platform
- We do not share your Google Drive files with third parties
- We do not use your Google Drive data for advertising purposes
- You can delete any imported file from the Vault at any time
5. Data Storage & Security
Your documents and data are:
- Stored on secure, encrypted servers hosted by Hetzner Cloud (Germany/US data centers)
- Isolated per tenant — your data is never accessible to other users
- Protected by TLS 1.3 encryption in transit
- Compressed and optimized to minimize storage footprint
- Accessible only through authenticated API endpoints with session-based authorization
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only:
- When required by law, court order, or government request
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of Wade.Technology, our users, or others
- With service providers who assist in operating our platform (e.g., hosting providers), subject to confidentiality obligations
7. Data Retention
Financial documents stored in the Vault are retained for up to 7 years (consistent with IRS audit requirements) unless you delete them sooner. You may delete any document at any time. Account data is retained as long as your account is active.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access all data we store about you
- Download or export your documents at any time
- Delete any or all documents from the Vault
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Revoke Google Drive access at any time via your Google Account permissions
9. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
10. Children's Privacy
The Wealth platform is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
